Growing Veteran Agripreneurs is an educational program series designed for veterans interested in beginning farming. Veterans interested in pursuing a career in small-scale agriculture an opportunity to receive in-depth farming education over the course of a farming season. Cost for the entire training is $50. The training begin the first week of May and runs through October. The program is limited to 10 veterans interested in farming.

Through an exciting series of classes, students have an opportunity to learn from many teachers. The program includes touring some of the most beautiful and successful small farms in our region. Students will find invaluable inspiration and learn lessons from experienced farmers themselves. Class topics cover both theoretical and practical information taught by OSU faculty, experienced farmers and agricultural professionals.
Class times vary throughout the week. Classes are held at OSU Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center (SOREC) and Franklin Teaching Farm at 569 Hanley Road, Central Point, OR 97502
