How did folks do ordinary things a hundred years ago? Hanley Farm’s “Family Heritage Fair, Part II” will take you back in time, where you’ll experience laundry washing as it was done then, playing Heritage games, cooking up some flat bread, and making a tin-punched picture. Bring a picnic to enjoy under the trees or on the lawns, relax and enjoy the ambience only Hanley Farm can offer. Before the day is out, be sure to take a hayride, take a hybrid Hanley house tour (non- Members, $5; SOHS Members and Children under 13, $3), weave with the Spinners and Weavers, take a self-guided garden tour, and watch the Family Nurturing Center’s corn-grinding demonstration.
