David Gordon “Highlights” Concert


JACKSONVILLE, OR—Northwest Troubadour David Gordon returns on Sunday, January 19, 2020, with a special 75-minute “Story & Song Highlights” concert featuring some of the greatest musical hits of the late 19 th Century culled from 112 vintage songs that David has shared during 36 concerts and four years of Historic Jacksonville, Inc.’s “Pioneer History in Story & Song” series. Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) counsel and assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining benefits provided for them by county, state and federal law. Children in grades K-3 are invited to share a story with a K9 Reading Buddy at the Jacksonville Library. Practice the skill of reading aloud with a trained and registered therapy dog. The dogs welcome a scratch on the head and the turn of the page from young readers. K9 Reading Buddies provides a non-intimidating environment for budding readers to explore reading out loud.
