THE 100-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT OF THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED It appears as though long titles are coming back in style. Based on the internationally best-selling novel by Jonas Jonasson, this film tells the hilarious tale of a man who gives himself freedom from a nursing home on his 100th birthday.

ALOHA It isn’t all rainbows and sunshine in Hawaii—actually it mostly is. A military contractor returns to his old stomping grounds and an old love, but he ends up falling for someone else instead.

EX MACHINA Usually just winning a drawing for a coffee card at work is exciting enough, but when Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson) wins a trip to his company’s CEO’s private escape, he learns that the big win comes with a catch—he is the test subject for his boss’ new artificial intelligence experiment.

FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD Who says society in Victorian England was boring? The independent Bathsheba Everdene (Carey Mulligan) stays a bit too true to her namesake and wins over three very different fellows: a Sergeant, a bachelor and a sheep farmer.

FELIX & MEIRA Though they live in the same neighborhood Meira (Hadas Yaron), a Hasidic Jewish wife and mother and Félix (Martin Dubreuil), a secular loner, couldn’t be more different. After they randomly meet, they find themselves falling for each other, but how can a bird love a fish?

FURIOUS 7 If the first six weren’t enough, or if you want that final glimpse of Paul Walker, why not watch Vin Diesel, the Rock and the rest of the gang dip back into the criminal world to take out a terrorist.

HOME Whether you call Earth or Space home, Home will remind you where you where you lay your head at night. Alien, Oh, makes friends with Earthling, Tip, and they both find out together where they belong.

HOT PURSUIT The “hot” in Hot Pursuit could refer to the actual chase itself, the blistering Texas heat where the movie is set, or the two leading ladies, Reese Witherspoon (the cop) and Sofia Vergara (the widow of the drug boss).

INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3 Insidious: Chapter 3 is actually a prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family. A teenage girl has gotten herself in with the wrong supernatural crowd, and psychic Elsie Rainier (Lin Shaye) is the only one who can help her now.

IRIS Though this documentary is by old people and about old people—the story and the characters are nothing like old. See Iris Apfel, the 93-year-old fashion icon through the eyes of 87-year-old director Albert Maysles.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD It is the end of the world and the rag-tag leftovers of humanity are mercilessly fighting with each other to survive. The partnership of Max (Tom Hardy) and Furiosa (Charlize Theron) just might bring order to the chaos.

PAUL BLART: MALL COP 2 Paul Blart (Kevin James) has been keeping our malls safe for years. He heads off on a well-deserved vacation with his daughter to Las Vegas, but it turns out that Las Vegas needs him on his time off.

PITCH PERFECT 2 The Barden Bellas are back to battle out who is the pitchiest a cappella group out there. Did someone say, “Aca-awesome”?

POLTERGEIST Filmmaker Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan team up to bring the scariest Poltergeist of all time. Evil strikes in quite suburbia, and when a family’s youngest daughter is taken, the evil must be faced.

THE SALT OF THE EARTH The 40-year photographic chronical of Sebastião Salgado. He has been traveling the world, and taking photos of humanity in our earthly home.

SAN ANDREAS We knew the Rock—err, Dwayne Johnson, was good. But is he good enough to stop California from falling into the Pacific Ocean? Fun fact: at the London premiere of San Andreas, Johnson set the world record for selfies—105 in three minutes. With mad skills like that, maybe he can save a moderately-large state.

SPY Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is stuck behind a desk at the CIA, so she decides to spice things up and try to save the world the old-fashioned way—with undercover stealth and a 9 mm.

TOMORROWLAND A former boy-genius inventor and a science-obsessed teen share a vision of another world, and they team up to try and find it.

THE WATER DIVINER Connor (Russell Crowe) is an Australian farmer who travels to Istanbul four years after the deadly WWI battle at Gallipoli in Turkey. His mission is to find his sons who were listed as missing in action, and he ends up finding more than he expected.

WILD TALES (RELATOS SALVAJES) Academy Award Winner of Best Foreign Language Film Wild Tale from Argentina is actually six Wild Tales. Six separate plots for revenge all happening at the same time bring out the worst in everyone.

WOMAN IN GOLD Maria Altman (Helen Mirren) tries to take on the Nazi injustices of WWII by claiming art that rightfully belonged to her family. It turns out that fighting a war after the fact sometimes wields the same results.
