GO HERE: Ziplining
What is more American than constructing a zipline in your backyard? Hopefully making the smart decision of leaving the ziplining to the professionals. Sure, that zipline your Dad built in the backyard growing up was epic. And those who have taken a cruise to Mexico think that true ziplines only exist south of the border. But the truth is, some of the best ziplines with the best views are nestled just outside Gold Hill. You don’t have to go far to hurtle along a cable at breakneck speeds hundreds of feet above the ground. Our very own Rogue Valley ZipLine Adventure is home to the longest zipline in the Pacific Northwest. Don’t worry, they gradually work zipliners up from a twenty-foot long zipline where your toes can almost touch the ground to the Big Kahuna, which feels like you are flying for miles. Certified staff shuttle you to the site, stopping along the way for a history lesson on a nearby gold mine, give you detailed safety instructions and pretty soon you are flying through the air with the greatest of ease. The best part? You get to pick your own ziplining code name.
If you are looking for some extra all-American fun, check out their “Zip, Dip, Sip” adventure package, which includes rafting and wine tasting in addition to ziplining. Cowabunga!
