Shelter Friends is an all volunteer group dedicated to partnering with the Josephine County Animal Shelter to help provide for the welfare, rehabilitation and rehoming of the displaced animals in our county. With community support we are able to provide for the medical needs of adoptable animals and facilitate a foster care system for dogs and cats in need of fostering. Our all-volunteer organization relies on donations from our community to help us in our mission of supporting the adoptable animals at the Josephine County Animal Shelter.

A $25 donation allows us to purchase 12 cans of good quality kitten pate for the kittens in our foster care network.
A $50 donation allows us to pay for an emergency grooming of a shelter dog

A $100 donation allows us to put together 2 medical care kits for kittens in foster, with such items as preventive medicines, antibiotics, eye drops, etc.
