Metal Design Fun with the Plasma Cutter | Beginning Metal Working with CraterWorks MakerSpace

June 29 - July 31

$65
👩‍🏭 What is plasma cutting? Plasma cutting is the process of cutting metal with an electric arc and ionised gas. A fun and versatile way of cutting through metal which allows creative free form designs.
🔥 Participants will learn how to use the hand held plasma cutter and simple MIG welding to make their own creations, i.e. garden art, house numbers, name plaques, etc.
**Note: This is not a CNC plasma process, your product will look handmade and therefore much more personal. You are encouraged to bring in an old shovel, hand saw, circular saw blade, or any cool flat old metal or metal object that you think would make an interesting design.
check the website for opportunities to participate this summer.
