In December, the Art du Jour Gallery features the work of wildlife photographer Joshua Able.
The Salon features abstract impressionist paintings from guest artist Alx Fox.

Joshua Able, Wildlife Photographer
Born in Upstate New York, Joshua grew up in a family that was connected to the nat-
ural world. He learned a deep appreciation for our wildlife and lands from his parents
while being able to travel and explore our world from a young age. He believes that na-
ture can heal the soul and he wants to do his best to protect our imperiled lands, wa-
ters and wildlife for future generations.
He is active in photography in the western USA and in southern Africa where he also
leads wildlife-focused tours.

Salon Artist Alx Fox
Alx Fox is a fine art abstract expressionist and instructor working in the fine arts since
1985. She is driven by her passion for self-expression using bold colors and distinctive
textures. Her work is in private collections worldwide and has been showcased in many
She studied art, photography and design at Barat College, Lake Forest, Ill. focusing on
experimental art. She was President of the Southern Oregon Society of Artists from
January 2012 through 2014, and was Vice President in 2011. She has also been a Na-
tional Show Judge, winner of the Cutting Edge award at the 2016 International Society
of Experimental Artists Show. Alx is a board member at the Rogue Gallery and Art Cen-
ter, Medford OR.
