Barnstormers Theatre Announces “Clue: On Stage”
Barnstormers Theatre announces ticket sales for its fall production of “Clue: On
Stage,” based on the Paramount Pictures motion picture and based on the Hasbro board game CLUE, written by Sandy Rustin and based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, Hunter Foster and Eric Price with original music by David Abbinanti. The production is directed by Tanaia Green and Jael Hanson.
The murder mystery “Clue: On Stage” follows the happenings of a dark and stormy night, where six guests have been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well . . . dead. Barnstormers invites patrons to guess “whodunnit?” as this classic murder mystery performs just in time for Halloween. Audiences will join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up.
“Clue: On Stage” performs 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 15 – 31. The theatre will observe social distancing between parties, which means that there are limited seats available for each performance and tickets must be purchased in advance. There will be no walk-up ticket sales.
Tickets are $18 apiece, and can be purchased online at www.barnstormersgp.com. For ticket purchasing assistance, please call the box office at (541) 479-3557.
Masks must be worn at all times in the theatre. There will be no concession sales, and food and drinks are not allowed in the theatre, with the exception of water.
“We are tremendously thrilled to bring this clever, well-known, comedic murder mystery to our patrons,” said Barnstormers Executive Director Annie Sabel. “It is the perfect fall production to kick off our 70 th season of plays that have never been done before on the Barnstormers stage.”
“Clue: On Stage” is produced through special arrangement with the Broadway Licensing, The Araca Group, Work Light Productions and Michael Barra/Lively McCabe Entertainment.
