3D Printing Orientation | CraterWorks MakerSpace

Printing isn’t just for ink anymore.
Plastic toys, metal parts, wooden shapes: If you can imagine it, you can print it!
Students will gain a basic understanding of easy-to-use 3D design software and 3D printers.
Requirements: Solid understanding of desktop computing, mouse/multi-button controls & keyboard skills. Some spatial knowledge helpful.
Our FabLab carries multiple 3D printers:
💥 Ultimaker S5
(Build space: 13 x 9.4 x 11.8 in.)
💥 Ultimaker S3
(Build space: 9 x 7.4 x 7.9 in.)
💥 Ulltimaker 2 Go
(Build space: 4.5 x 4.7 x 4.7 in.)
💥 Pulse
(Build space: 8 x 7.5 x 7 in.)
💥 Lulzbot Mini
(Build space: 6 x 6 x 6.2in.)
Not only will you get familiar with the machines and the programs used to operate them, but you’ll become acquainted with our knowledgeable staff and extensive facility as well!
👉🏼This class is open to ages 10 & up. Please note, parent/guardian supervision is required for attendees under 18. If the parent/guardian would like to make a sword as well, enroll in the class with your child as two class attendees, otherwise if just accompanying for supervision, only one enrollment is required
