The paintings are a sampling of a larger body of work that the artist has done in response to enormous social movements of the last few years that affecting migrant workers, the DACA Dreamers, and the North Dakota Pipeline controversy. The work has an imaginary and spiritual quality, while focusing on real life cultural issues of peace, justice, environmental issues and human rights.

Southern Oregon photography artists Lewis Anderson and Darcie Sternenberg both create dream-like landscape images. Anderson’s Asian inspired pieces are large multi-paneled images while Sternenberg’s smaller, intimate pieces are in black and white. In this exhibit, each image is titled with a question, which invites the viewer to establish a stronger connection with art.
