Winter Term Round 2 at Center for the Visual Arts

Southern Oregon University students will display their own artwork for the month of February. The exhibits span several different mediums and reflect different stages of skill level. Emma Kincade’s Thesis will be on display in the Retzlaff Gallery and is titled “In the Grain.” Amelia Karley will have her own solo exhibition in the Thorndike Gallery, titled “Amble Elsewhere.”

The beginning printmaker will learn how to use tools to make a linoleum and foam core prints. We will learn to apply ink and to make a print by hand or on a press. We will also explore printing on over textures and combining prints in unexpected ways. People with printmaking experience may also enjoy this class. Materials are available in the Art Center supply store.
