Pioneer History in Story & Song by David Gordon at Jacksonville Library
January 13 @ 1:30 pm$5
On Sunday, January 13, Northwest Troubadour David Gordon returns for another season of “Pioneer History in Story & Song.” Kicking off the 4-concert series is “A Stephen Foster Encore – Back by Popular Demand!” Foster was America’s first great composer and its first free-lance songwriter. These 1:30 and 3pm performances in the Jacksonville Library’s Naversen Room will feature such songs as Camptown Races; My Old Kentucky Home; O Susanna; and Beautiful Dreamer and include readings about Foster from abolitionist Frederick Douglass and others. Admission is $5. Space is limited and reservations are required! Reservations are available at firstname.lastname@example.org or 541-245-3650, and all proceeds benefit preservation and maintenance of Jacksonville’s historic buildings.
David has developed a dedicated Rogue Valley following. His three previous seasons of “Pioneer History in Story & Song” have been “sell outs” so we would really appreciate your letting your audience know about current reservation availability. A full press release is attached along with several images.
