An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until May 23, 2019


Embark on an eight-class learning adventure in food preservation taught by certified Master Food Preservers. Learn to prepare garden produce for preserving, the ins-and-outs of food preservation equipment, and food and kitchen safety.


How do you water-bath and pressure-can safely and efficiently? Want to prepare fruits vegetables, herbs, and snacks in a dehydrator; make scrumptious jerky and sausage; harness fermentation’s natural process to create sauerkraut and crock-pickle vegetables? Join the 2019 Jackson County Master food Preservers for in-depth training and certification!
