JCLS HOSTS FREE PERFORMANCE OF “SCROOGE”

December 2 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

The Portland-based Traveling Lantern Theatre Company will Perform in Rogue River.

Jackson County Library Services (JCLS) will host a special production by the Portland-based Traveling Lantern Theatre Company this December, “The Story of Ebenezer Scrooge, or A Christmas Carol.”

“The Story of Ebenezer Scrooge, or A Christmas Carol” tells the story of a nasty, mean, snarling old geezer with no care for anything other than his money. His one and only friend visits him as a ghost and starts him on a journey that melts his icy heart and teaches him the joys of caring for and giving to others.

Monday, December 2 from 3:00–4:00 p.m.
Rogue River Library, 412 East Main Street.

Traveling Lantern has been educating and entertaining children all over the country since 1985. Their mission is to bring great stories to children, draw them into an active theater experience, excite their minds, and tickle their imaginations.
