Descriptions: “Froggie Simmer,” an allegory about climate-change denial, depicts the old fable about a frog tossed into hot water able to save himself by hopping out, but when the heat is raised one degree at a time, the frog is cooked; “Reciprocity” is about a tortoise who’s rescued by a boy who discovers him with a plastic ring around his neck. The tortoise, in turn, saves the boy from drowning.
