Author Talk: Paul Fattig

Local author Paul Fattig will speak about his book Madstone: The True Tale of WWI Conscientious Objectors Alfred and Charlie Fattig and Their Oregon Wilderness Hideout. Paul is also the author of Up Sterling Creek Without a Paddle.

Gentle and adaptable for any level, qigong uses intention, relaxation, physical movement, and breathing to maintain health and calm the mind. This class is taught by Helen Jucevic, a certified level two qigong instructor.

“A Christmas Memory”

Burt Eikleberry and Tamara Barrus will read “A Christmas Memory,” Truman Capote’s moving short story based on his childhood in the South in the 1930s. The story combines humor with deep affection for a special relationship.
